Easy answer yes. As a youth, the experimentation and my own insecurities that resulted in my going along with the cool crowd' inevitably turned to trying it. I recall some good times an some bad times and a rather dangerous flirtation with more dangerous chemical entertainments however I view myself as one of the lucky. As an adult now aged 45, I have a career and family to invest my time in. Both of these are not conducive to continued use of illegal substances.

My son has tried it and I suspect still joins in with his friends from time to time. There is little I can do about this considering he is now legally an adult, I do demand however that he refrains from bringing it into my home, and I will not enter any place where I know or suspect drugs are in use.

Having given the impression I am against smoking marijuana, this is not so. I enjoyed most of the time however my priorities are somewhat different, as is my propensity to taking unnecessary risks with the law and subsequent loss of career. Perhaps in retirement, I may choose to enjoy the odd session time will tell.
