Cheap wooden table,
Four cheap, wooden chairs
(sitting alone)
I struggle to process any thoughts -
About love
Or loneliness.
Self-pity is easy to drown in, as I go for
Another round of 'I'm better off without.'
Three slightly used, decorative candles
Mock me
As I slum off and onto the ground.
Stripping out of my clothes
And memories.
There is nothing to contain me.
But from this angle,
I can see that someone drew on the bottom of the table.
