Poetry: Pregame jitters

by Ashleah Proud

Created on: July 25, 2008

Something so big your guts start to tingle
in a game with so many you feel like a single

The crowed cheers with thunder
Just waiting for your blunder

Your stomach then turns
Your heart aces and burns

What if i fail
What if i fall

Thought are array
You look to the sky

It's all in your head
Both feet on the ground
Ready
Steady

Let the game begin
