So you've booked the hotel and your itineraries for every day you spend in Whistler is brimming with excitement and adventure - until 8pm. After that it seems you're sitting all alone in a bar cradling a Mojito (or non alcoholic beverage) and possibly maybe crying into it. There's nothing more tragic than that, is there?
Well never fear because here is your one stop guide for entertainment and nightlife in Whistler! In case you didn't already know: Whistler is well known for its night clubs and the stuff that goes on after dark, so you won't be hard pushed to find something for you whether it be relaxing or partying on down with Whistler's finest!

So if your looking to chow down after a hard days skiing or snow boarding you can always pop into one of the many bars and restaurants that Whistler has to offer.
The Cinnamon Bear Bar and Grille, although it sounds dangerous, is actually a friendly bar and restaurant. It is split very nicely into two - one side offering a friendly pub atmosphere with good food, pool tables, and of course wide screen TVs to watch the game on. The other side boasts a finely decorated restaurant which also does a pretty darn good breakfast. An added bonus is if you have the kids with you. It's very child friendly up until 8pm so rest assured that the kids will be sufficiently fed and watered after your daily adventures.
For something more exotic you might try Whistlers favorite - and only! - Irish public house. The quirky named Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub can sufficiently tickle your beer buds with up to 30 (yes! 30!) draft beers from across the world, and 28 single malt scotches. Dip into many different varieties of drinks all from a comfy bar stool. And if that wasn't enough for you the bar entertainment will certainly be the feature that hooks you into this bar. Live Celtic music is played to accompany you and your drinks and will most probably get you up onto your feet doing a little Irish jig, and if that doesn't I'm sure the whiskey will!
Now on to more important matters! You've enjoyed a nice relaxing couple of hours after your daily activities and now want to party on down. Whistler have that down too! If you're looking to mix with the locals of Whistler a good place to start would be Tommy Africa's Bar. Located in the main Village Square it's easily recognizable by the wide range of music being pumped out the speakers all night. Not one for prejudices the beats that spill from this nightclub range from R'n'B to House to Trance to 80s retro and back round again. Tommy Africa's is truly the pinnacle in nightlife importing DJs from North America and Europe be prepared to be Wowed by the awesome DJ Booth in the world. Four turntables and lighting that is bound to give you an epileptic fit even if you aren't epileptic are the highlights of this club, so be prepared to rave it on up all night (or at least till 2am when the club closes).
Rivalling Tommy Africa's is Down Under (formally known as Maxx Fish). A club where almost anything in the world can happen (and more often that not does). And if you're looking for something a bit special Garfinkel's nightclub holds special themed nights with bikini contests and costume parties. So if you fancy a bit of public humiliation it's certainly for you.
So now there's no excuse to find you crying into a watery Mojito. Get out there and party on down!
