THE WHALE
Oh happy creature so free and bright.
That comes and goes beneath the seasons skies,
I would truly give anything to protect thy wonderous might,
And dry such shining eyes,
I would wish you a calmness that would now seemed banned,
From the onslaught and hunting on you that man has dammed,
I would brighten up Gods work of art for you
Where it had failed to shine,
I would give back to you and your kind
what is rightfully yours,
And for all the money in the world,
I would give you back your freedom and happiness.
