What does it mean to find victory through the blood of Jesus? To understand this topic in the fullest one must first know the true depth and meaning of all the blood represents. In Exodus the Lord began to show the Egyptians His power and Might through supernatural signs and wonders. The last sign before the Children of Israel experienced victorious freedom was the passing over of the death angel sent to destroy all the firstborn in Egypt. In the book of Exodus, chapter 12, the Lord told Moses to call the elders of Israel and tell them to pick out lambs according to their families, and kill the Passover lamb. Then they were commanded to take hyssop and dip in the blood, striking the lentils and also the two doorposts; assuring protection as the Lord passed over and kept the destroyer from coming into their houses. In Romans 4:24-25, With this knowledge we see the great evidence of God's love; in the shedding of Jesus' blood, knowing that we were not redeemed with corruptible things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without spot or blemish.
