Eyes that are empty
I look in the glass
The color of sky blue
Behind fearful and sad
Underneath, a mystery
And I don't have a clue
What to do...
Embers burn and sparkle
Into the night so quiet
Oh, the shadows they marvel
That's in the still riot
Slipping away in the silence
Calling, whispering,bleeding though your life!
In the midst of social bites
Laying upon the ground; once fought
Down for the count yet a breath caught
And you just don't seem to understand
Everything that I am
But then again
Who am I?
