Jamie Lee Curtis was born in Los Angeles, California. She was born in November 22, 1958. Jamie Lee Curtis is known as "The Scream Queen" for her roles in the Halloween movies. She is known as "The Body" due to her dangerous curves and long legs.

Jamie is no stranger to Hollywood. Her parents were actors Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis. She got her first big acting role in 1978 as Laurie Strode in "Halloween". She did other roles such as "Trading Places", "Perfect", and "A Fish Called Wanda". She was in her biggest action film roles in "True Lies" costarring Arnold Swarzenegger. She won a Golden Globe for her performance. She starred in "Halloween H20: 20 Years Later" where she revisited her role that made her famous in 1978.

Curtis has written several children's books, such as, Tell Me Again About the Night I Was Born (1996) and When I Was Little: A Four-Year-Old's Memoir of Her Youth (1993). She is married to actor/director Christopher Guest, with whom she has two children, whom she adopted, Annie and Thomas.

Jamie Lee Curtis shocked many people when she did a photo shoot without the air brush. She showed that she is not perfect. She wanted to show everyone she was human. I thought that was a great and bold move. She also let people know she was addicted to pain killers, which was a very bold move.

Jamie is an activist to many causes. She is an activist for PETA. She is an activist for starving children in other countries (Save the Children), as well as many other children related causes. She is an AIDS activist. She is on the board for Addiction and Recovery.

Jamie Lee Curtis a great overall person. She shows that she's human in both her body and her addictions. She shows that she cares. She can give a blood curdling scream that would give shivers to anyone. I would not say she was the best actress ever, but she does an excellent job. She also shows us that even in Hollywood, your marriage can last a long time. She definitely has shown she is more than a "Body" or a "Screamer".
