Poetry: Flowers

by Carmelo Piparato

Created on: July 23, 2008

The rose looks fair
Unselfish thoughts are not so rare
A simple thought may unwind woes
It's that thoughtful thing which is the rose
The humble thing so freely given
The thing so often selfless driven
A rose of another color goes
Kind gestures in them selvesa rose
Thoughtless, thankless, welcomed relief
A rose of helpfulness when in grief
Intense sorrows of life expose
Lifted by, a sent of a rose
