Poetry: Unspoken thoughts

by Eva Prabhakar

Created on: July 22, 2008

Wrapped with emotions
I don't understand
Surrounded by special someones
Forever holding my hand...

Calmness and quiet; fun and games
Beautiful memories abound
People and faces; faces and names
Nowhere, yet all around...

Feeling insignificant feelings
Wind, rain, and sunshine
Smiling and finding myself kneeling
Looking above for comfort and a sign...

Snapshots of the past
And visions of tomorrow
Wondering what would last
Tears of joy or sorrow...

Questions I cannot ask
Answers I never get
Hidden faces behind one mask
Leading to stories unmet...

Perfect scenarios everyday
Inside it is so cold
Flowers lining each way
Yet, uneasiness untold...
