I call up my friends
To pour my heart out
Some aren't there,others don't know
What I'm talking about...
They seem to be very concerned
For my feelings & for me
Yet,they don't understand
There's more than they see...
Everything's alright & fine
Except for my lil' heart
Life's a bed of roses
As long as I don't mention this part...
My voice doesn't find words
To help me let go
To forget all the questions
That I should forgo...
Optimism is my very best
Of which I have a lot to give
My head fails my heart
But I smile...and I live...
