The Pain I Bear Within

It cuts me through and through like a double-sided sword,
as it penetrates deep within my inner strengths and self esteem,
and it causes me to weaken and to disintegrate while I buckle at the knees.

I try aimlessly to then give forgiveness for God calling you home with him
for he has been so down-right selfish and so full of uncertainty.
I cringe as for I am harboring feelings of being so utterly lonesome and greatly unworthy.

This has left my dear soul to be at it's most vulnerable,
for why did you leave me here so unguardedly deserted,
yet I have be strong enough to continue this venture all on my own,
and never again take another look back,
nor shall I weep another tear.

I will always fondly reminisce all the many of good times when you were graciously here with me,
and I will forever and forever miss you deep inside my aching heart,
I will promise to you that I will strive aimlessly to love thyself within,
just as you had once cherished me, it seems like it's almost been forever ago,

Because I am longing to be nestled in your caressing and tender loving arms,
I long for the times for us to be reunited,
until death may do me part or until the final chapter has began into the bitter-sweet loving end.
