Bright little children

do you have a bright little child? All parents think their children are bright little children-but then again, some little children are really bright beyond their age.

I remember I had a bright child. My daughter was contacted for a test for children under a year
and she passed with genius results.

She was given blocks-some square-some round-some rectangular-blocks of all different shapes. The test was to put the correct blocks in the right places. This is a difficult task for a small child and she was able to do this. I was so proud of her. However, when she arrived at adulthood she proved to be just a normal person like myself, but for a brief time I knew I had a bright little child.

Why is it that some children are so bright for their age? Is it something that happened in the womb? Is it because of exceptional parenting? Is it because of genes? Who knows, but we all know for sure that some children are extremely bright beyond their years.

Always you hear of bright sayings of children. Maybe they get this from tv? Maybe from the internet. But bright children have always shown up long before tv and the internet. So that cant be the explanation.

And what about these bright children? Do they grow up to be brighter than average children? I don't think anyone really knows that answer. But it is an interesting subject. And it is an important subject because our whole Country depends on our children and we need to make them as bright as possible.

I guess you wonder where this is leading up to? All this talk of bright children-well, I want to tell you an incredible story about my granddaughter who was 6 years old at the time of this story.

First of all, there is a big difference between children and adults. Children can be bright but most children can't put the whole picture together. They don't have the reasoning capabilities that adults have. This is one reason children are so helpless. They really cant think things thru. They only understand little ideas. Everything else is too complex. Adults know the consequences of events, children don't seem to put these things together.

So this story I want to tell you of my 6 year old bright granddaughter, I think is amazing because it shows the reasoning of a small child. It seems almost unbelievable to me that she could have done such a thing, but my daughter who was with her, tells me the story, so I know it is true.

Anyway, this is what happened. My daughter was shopping in a department store with my granddaughter
