I have no idea how many people out there are considering how the pilot for season seven of the show should start or how it should be laid out (story wise) but I noticed a few flaws in season six's finale episode.
We already know that one of the shows major characters got killed off: Kristin Kreuk a.k.a.(Lana Lang) but there were a few problems on how they handled the characters Lionel and Chloe.
As odd as it may sound, (particularly from me, of course), it had been either relevant or irrelevant in the characterizational approach on Martian Manhunter; don't get me wrong they wrote him very good considering what and how they implored the story's ambiance surrounding only him but the one thing I know for sure is that we haven't seen the last of Lionel Luthor and Chloe Sullivan. Chloe is just too mature of a character to let go, considering the amount of satisfaction that Smallville's fans love from that one character.
From what we've seen from the finale, I don't believe for a second that Chloe is dead.
This, too, right here is another flaw in the storyline: from what we have read up on, way before the finale aired, we were given the notion and belief that only a major character will die and that was Lana but with the actions they've taken with Allison Mack's Chloe Sullivan in that one scene when a tear from her eye fell upon Lois's face and it had brought her back to life, we watched her pale figure sit as if it was lifeless, which in this case, she's not dead.
From my standpoint, it is actually her meteor ability which is completely keeping her alive on the inside but immovable physically.
By the time when we see season seven's pilot this fall, we will not be surprised to see that it ends with a hospital visit like many other season pilots we've seen before but I imagine that we may just see Chloe and Clark in a major lip lock.
(That is after Clark explains to her what became of Lana.)
So, Smallville fans, believe me when I say this; don't get your hopes up because I happen to know for a fact that Chloe Sullivan isn't going anywhere.
Now, I have to have a say in the Lionel situation: this is where I would actually have to shake the hands of the writers who actually maneuvered Lionel beautifully in the season finale. We actually got to see him holding a rock of green kryptonite at the chest of bizarro Clark/Superman and after that, he got slammed against the pipes that helped cause the destruction of the dam. What's that tell you? It's telling me that probably three
