Our children are our future so guiding them and helping them is as paramount as is not giving them a free lunch. Why must the policy be all the benefits for the select few and mostly nothing for those most in need, this takes away hugely from the benefits society can be rewarded with when we have sound affordable education.

A well balanced populace which can draw in very beneficial ways from the understanding and insight afforded by education that improves our society in so many ways making for a far more productive and fairer place to reside. The trick is finding a balance that brings about owning the worth of education and commitment to repay for the privilege of getting educated.

Educational institutions only have round Seventy percent of there costs met by student fees so the major part is still topped up by the government. Consideration needs to be given to the welfare of the students but also the obligations they have to the Country investing so heavily in there futures. Primarily what separates qualities of life on offer from Western to third World is the education that maintains the fabric of our society's. Wheres the fair thing so that all parties win

Education has many areas where social benefits can be reaped. Free courses would help in so many areas parenting being right up the top. They are there for those who feel they would be beneficial and also for people who need help. In New Zealand the lead role in this area offering support in the form of home visits was taken by the Plunket society. They offered so much lead by the nurses doing the rounds with back up and a wealth of knowledge on offer, at that time New Zealand had the lowest infant mortality rate in the world. Australia has put together an excellent policy round a one stop shop for educating and looking after the ankle biters.

Trade related education and apprenticeship training is a world wide disgrace so now there is a global shortage of tradesman in many fields. The employers can't always take the burden of training apprentices but what has happened now is private institutions have jumped on the band wagon and are only interested in who can pay for the courses not who can do them. Many young men can't make the right choices so we are left with the job of mopping up after they have been forced to make the wrong ones.

Giving people a chance to change things has positive ramifications for all around them. An example would be prisoners it is all very well to limit peoples options in life and keep them on the same heading but why not help them and inspire them to better things. It is a case by case solution for sure but the thing is if you show a little faith and train someone to navigate a different path miracles will happen. This approach has been tried and proven in Finland so lets take a look at there wheel.

One of the most important things is we need quality education so why are the educators leaving in droves. This area needs better resourcing and an educated shake up. How do we attract the best of the best into this vocation or perhaps where has it gone so tragically wrong. In many cultures the educators are considered the most honoured members of the community entrusted with complimenting the parents role and helping to shape little johnny's future .

So yes Governments should support students but If you don't have to work for something of pay for it do you truly appreciate it's worth.
