An Event Unlike Any Other
It was a normal day, like the rest
Steady and calm rain, but it was the best
I was in my house with my family
Together we arranged this little party
And we danced, and played games
Amazing it is, I was kept entertained
And I stopped thinking about my problems
For once in my mind I thought they have fallen
We had so much fun, then the rain stopped
An hour later we hear the sound of guns
We open the door to see what's happening
We just see people strangely walking
They're roaming the sidewalks, they're even walking on the streets
I try to see what's wrong but I see my family rising to their feet
Except for my brothers and cousins, they don't know what's happening
Neither do we so we just watch what they're doing
"Luckily our parking lot has a rooftop", says my shocked mom
"Our house is right here so we just have to close the fence with locks"
This situation is driving me curious, so I ask my mom what is going on
She said that diseased and infected people are terrorizing us
But none of us kids are scared, we just sit back and continue to stare
However I know that an event like this is extremely rare
I see a mob eating a defenseless man and then
That large crowd of people come walking slowly toward our fence
They spot a woman walking to her home, bite beneath her shoulder and hence
"These people have been infected and are zombies!" I concluded
My family tries to think of a way out and realized we can escape using our big car
They open the door to our garage, and learn that's where most of them are
We all assist in moving heavy objects to the street doors, then my little cousin asked "what for"
My uncle said, "There's no time! Please don't ask about this anymore"
My grandma said, "Last week in your storage I saw huge pieces of wood"
My dad says, "She's right; let's go and strengthen the gate with all that wood"
So we all go at the same time, and more pieces than expected did we find
The panicking continues as the beautiful sun ceased to shine
The sun stops, then severe rain strikes with more thunderstorms
I'm intrigued by the weird man and try to see what maneuver they have in store
Well, they managed to drive together a pick up truck
They crashed into our fence and then fire struck
Now there's no way out, we try to make our way back to the house
But they've gotten in and now we can't get out
My grandparents take us by the hands, more and more I feel that this is the end
Because the more they try to move the closer they get
Only worse it gets, cause I look around and see my uncle
