At times you stop and ask me, " Do you love me like before,
When you sent me flowers twice a week and love notes to adore?",
I can't believe you'd ask of such,my feelings have only grown there;
Sometimes I forget to tell you just how much I really care,
Thoughts of "us" are floating to and fro within my mind,
I presume this love of "you and I," but leaves you unaware;
I wish that you could feel my heart the way it feels inside,
Our words would never crash and burn, merely just collide;
Just knowing you're in the room with me leaves me so secure,
One look at you unaware, inspires me to endure;
Rising from our bed today I smelled and heard the silence barren,
No signs of you were in the air, no time that we'd be sharing;
Knowing that you are just on a trip, still leaves me slightly blue,
Without you, our home and I would only long for you.
Before I pick you up at the airport tomorrow. I love you.

When a bountiful summer, the
Gentle Minds
I have a love that seems to know
The poems of my mind
She says that when she thinks of me
All that she can
