then moderation is the key. A touch of 1930's sophistication mixed in with today's style will turn heads in a positive direction. An addition of 1960's accessories such as round glasses or a cool soul drifter hat will look far more intriguing than a complete outfit from this fashion era.

FINISHING TOUCHES

Once you have you basic garments in your wardrobes it is time to try mixing and matching. This will give you the opportunity to see exactly what goes well with what. It will also help you to be creative and to get to know what you really like, or dislike.

It is also time to take a look at those extra items which create your finished look. Ties can make or break an outfit. Garish and bold may be fine for a children's party, but will spoil your credibility at the office. That hawaiian shirt with the dancers and coconuts on it may be great fun when out bowling with friends, but wont find you your dream date unless she is equally zany, which is fine as long as this is what you are aiming for.

Shoes are equally important. Shoes that fit well make you stand and walk well. Shoes made of strong materials that are of quality can make you feel, and so look, more important.

Briefcases and men's bags come in all shapes, materials and sizes, but again, if they are of poor quality they just wont make you stand proud and tall.

Jewelery is a very personal matter. How much you choose to wear or not wear may well reflect your lifestyle, but even if it doesn't it will look like it does. With this in mind, wear jewellery, as well as clothing, which reflects how you want to be perceived by others. After all, once the issue of dressing for warmth and comfort is covered, this is what fashion is all about. It is a tool to use to your advantage to help steer you in a positive direction. One single outfit that makes you look and feel a million dollars is worth more than a million that don't.
