No, our teachers are not giving 100% to the education of our students. The worst thing about it is that they know that they are not giving 100% and they brag and boast about not teaching properly. They talk openly about using the school system money to better their education, and move on. On the other hand, we have to look at why?
I remember when society respected teachers' right up there with preachers. A child did not dare disrespect a teacher and let his parent find out. Now we do not teach our children to respect anyone. We allow our children to talk and act anyway they wish. We know that we are bringing up monsters and the first time a teacher ask a parent to come in and talk, the first thing out of our mouths is he said he did not do it, or he said that you are picking on him. Then we have the parent who will go to the school and act a bigger fool then their evil little imps that they have release on the world.
With all of this in mind, it is a wonder that we even have teachers in our society. This is the very reason the teachers do not give 100% in teaching anymore. Many of the school system have a program where the teachers can farther their education and get master and bachelor degrees and leave the school system after a certain time limit. Therefore, what many of them do is to help those who they think want their help, wait out their tour, hope they have no battle scares, and move on.
This is all from our own doing. Children have more rights then any living creature on earth. Children can lie at the drop of a hat and who ever the target is will have to go under investigation just to be proven innocent and out of a teaching license. Now after our little darling has destroyed a person life, there is no compensation for this person to go on with their life and junior is out looking for his next victim.
How can we blame a teacher for not giving 100% with their back up against a wall like this? Can we blame the teacher for not wanting to be the gatekeeper of Hell? Our new society has made the teachers the babysitters of our brats and the rules are my child can do what he wants, and the teacher had better not stop him. I use to want to teach until I got into Jr. High. By this time, I saw the change of parenting and schooling.
There are still some good teachers out there, but we have managed to run the most of them off. The ones who are still around, is doing just enough to get by, about 75%.
