Heartbreaking

Isn't it heartbreaking
isn't it sad
I was the best thing
You ever had

But you threw me away
Last Christmas Day
When you told me
You didn't want me anymore.

I gave you all the love
A woman could ever give
I never laughed when you cried
I know you are sensitive

But how heartless you were
On that last Christmas Day
You sent me an SMS
And blew me away

You said I wasn't
the 1 4 u
Maybe it's possible
Maybe it's true
But to ruin the one only day
We all believe in for
And you shattered my heart
Tell me...what for?



You couldn't have waited
Not even one day
To tell me what you
believed
you just couldn't say



not face to face
Or over the phone
No! you sent me a message
To say you were gone.

So now here I am
So lost and alone
I sit in my sanctuary
You know as my home

I sit down and write about
My lost heartbreaking
And how we were once so close
We just couldn't part.

Isn't it heartbreaking
Isn't it sad
I was the best thing
You ever had.....
