"Please remain motionless; a robot will be with you to assist you in a moment." The newly released Disney Pixar animated film Wall-E debuted at the box office in the No. 1 position spawning your child's desire for all things Wall-E and inspiring you to redecorate his/her bedroom.

When looking for design ideas for a bedroom based on a popular movie like Wall-E, we must examine the backgrounds that can easily be incorporated the bedroom decor. Wall-E is the story of the relationship between Wall-E which is an acronym for "Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class" and Eve "Extra Terrestrial Vegetation Evaluator" which begins when Eve returns to an Earth that has been destroyed. After several hundred years, Eve returns to see if the planet is habitable again for the humans still alive aboard a distant space cruiser, the Axiom. Backgrounds include the planet Earth which appears to be a huge trash pile with squares of compacted waste, space, and the interior of the Axiom or Wall-E's truck. When considering the dcor of the Wall-E themed bedroom, focus on the positive subtleties and consider incorporating learning opportunities that will support the child's continued interest.

Although Wall-E has lived on Earth cleaning up garbage, he still manages to find treasures like Christmas lights, a Gnome and a candy dispenser which he stores on his truck. Many children love Christmas lights all year long, but make sure to purchase lights that are for heavy duty use. Wall-E's truck is full of storage bins to store his treasures. Brightly colored stackable storage bins are available through many retailers and are excellent for storing your child's own treasures as well as shelf bins for organizing smaller items, such as school/art supplies. The background also features stacks of used tires. Pillows that are meant to look like tires are available at many retailers and can be piled up and placed in a reading corner.

Various retailers such as Anna's Linens, Toy's "R" Us and Target stock Wall-E linens and merchandise for help in creating our Wall-E themed room. The merchandise includes bedroom linens plush toys, an interactive Wall-E and his other robots friends. There is even a Wall-E that has a plug in for your MP-3 player.

Galaxy or outer space themed accessories have been around for a long time and these less expensive curtains, wall borders and paper and even bed linens can be incorporated into the Wall-E themed room with relative ease. Perhaps you would like to paint the walls
