Poetry: Facing death

by Nancy Ryan

Created on: July 21, 2008

Resting Place

Solitude
Comforting in it's soft embrace
quiet and endulging

Forever searching for one's special place
along paths of falling leaves or mountain tops
There is where you'll find the coveted spot

Serenity
Contentment with a passing of time
peaceful and endearing

Inviting to those of the pleasurable kind
passing by without a face
smiling down to my resting place
