South of Cancun are the ruins of the ancient Mayan epoch on the Yucatan Peninsula.This is part of the rich history of Mexico , a must to visit. It's only about a 30 minute dive by car south of Cancun .

Reserva Natural Tres Rios is a natural park in an area of low subtropical jungle and mangrove on the Riviera Maya, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. It is located only 35 minutes south of Cancun on the Riviera Maya on the Cancun-Tulum highway It offers hiking, horseback riding, group camping, and many water activities, and is filled with many exotic birds and animals. This place is so unique,you may not find it anywhere else in the world

If you are visiting Cancun in the first week of November you will experience a Traditional celebration called day of the dead.This is a day that consists of many families preparing special meals, where they go visit the graves of their deceased family and loved ones. There is much celebration and they pay tribute to the children, and also the dead through parades and much feasting and dancing. If you accept an offer of gracious hospitality on this day you may taste foods you have never had.
Cancun also has a magnificent selection fine and casual dining. As well as many one of a kind places to try. You can enjoy seafood, shellfish, some locally caught, as well as many traditional Mexican dishes and American dishes. Enjoy a traditional margarita or a glass of wine as yo wait for your evening meal.
If you re into nightlife, there are many clubs and lounges with live music and dancing. Shopping is a fun pastime, with Cancun offering many shops for the traditional souvenirs. Cancun , the best place in the world to travel.
