ENVY.
How is it that some people glide effortlessly through their lives,
Perfect men, with high powered jobs, prestige homes and perfect wives.
They're living in a universe quite different to the rest of us,
Who struggle with ends that do not meet while they just make us envious.
But looked at in another way, what have they left to gain?
The things we have in common are strife despair and pain.
So we must just accept that they all have - and we have not,
Get on with things as best we can, contented with our lot.
For though material blessings may never fill our cup,
Directionally, we are safe - the only way is up!
