Feeling the need to try something a little different on your Cancun vacation or need a little thrill to take home with you on this trip? How about swimming with sharks or driving your own speedboat through the jungle? All this and more can be yours with just a little preparation, a little money, and a lot of nerve! Here are some great tours with links to find them.

SHARK ENCOUTNER CANCUN: If your idea of fun is climbing into a plexi-glass cage and being lowered into the water with nurse and bull sharks, both of which can become aggressive at any moment, then this is the tour for you. It is reasonably priced and includes all necessities such as wet suit, goggles, etc. The price also includes lunch, provided that you do not become lunch before hand.

JUNGLE BOAT: The Jungle Tour adventure is two and a half hours of speed boat fun. Imagine driving a fourteen foot boat up the Mayan Riviera and then snorkeling in one of the world's most beautiful reefs. The most popular tour in Cancun is reasonably priced and includes a map, for those of us who are navigationally challenged.

WHALE SHARK ADVENTURE: Sure you can swim with the dolphins, but why do that when you can swim with the largest, non-man eating shark in the world? This tour is a little pricey but offer a 100% money back guarantee if you do not see a shark. All this and lunch, too!

TULUM and XEL-HA: For those who like the convenience of the all-inclusive tour, this one is for you. Providing meals in several five star restaurants, it also takes you to the Tulum ruins and hands you everything you need for a relaxing day in Xel-Ha on a pre-paid silver platter.

MOTOR YACHT ISLAND HOPPING: If money is no object, chartering a yacht for the day would be a great way to see all the islands around. The fifty two foot boat can accommodate up to 40 of your closest friends, or acquaintances, whomever you can persuade to split the bill for the eight hour cruise. It is an experience in luxury and there's no better way to tour Cancun in style!

CAPTAIN HOOK's DINNER THEATRE: For those who travel with children, this is perfect. This interactive dinner theatre is located on a ship and it actually sets sail while the performance is happening. The children can interact and listen to pirate stories and pretend that they are hoisting the Jolly Roger on this dinner adventure. All this and dinner, too!

Whether your taste is champagne and all inclusive or whether you crave edgy and extreme adventure, there is a tour in Cancun for you. Just remember to bring your wallet and a photo ID, for while these tours can be a little expensive, they won't soak you for a bundle and you will still walk away feeling that you got the most bang for your buck.
