Poetry: Heartbreak

Love is From Hell

Love is a thing sent up from hell
It's not at all like the stories tell
It twists and it burns until all is consumed
And nothing is left, but emotion unused.

Emotion unused fills you up like a shell
Leaving you empty, brittle and stale
Or it rages and burns all through your soul
Leaving you torn, ragged, unwhole.
