Summer Rain: Coming Down From Heaven

Let the rain pour down on me
like crystals from heaven.
Let it refresh me
with a coolness I can find no where else
but in the beautiful summer rain.

I shall dance like an angel
among the crystals sent down from above.
I will celebrate that God gave us rain,
that our crops will grow and feed the hungry.
Grass that is dry will be refreshed and renewed.

As I look above I hear thunder and see lightning
Longing for these wonders of nature for days on end.
I want to dance in the rain like I have never
felt it before.
This beautiful rain gives me freedom to relax.

God's works are many
Summer rain
I bath in the peacefulness of the drops as they fall
Allowing my mind to wander to a place
where no one is but me and those I treasure
in peaceful summer rain.
