3. Open the door on the unit.

4. Remove the old filter from the air conditoner unit.

5. Place the new filter back into the air conditioner unit.

6. Turn on the air coditioner unit to make sure it is working.

This is how you should clean a home air vent filter:

1. Open the air conditioning unit door.

2. Remove the air vent filter.

3. Use a lint brush or old towel to remove the dust and lint buildup.

4. Place the air vent filter back into the air conditioning unit.

5. Close the air conditoning unit door and turn it on to see the results.

6. Repeat steps one through five as needed.

You should replace your home air vent once every thirty days. You should also clean the vent heap filter in your clothes dryer before and after every use.
