A mink was killed for that one scarf.
A calf was murdered for your steak.
A rabbit got sick from testing your foundation.
A bull was stripped for those leather shoes.
I am so sick. I am fed up.
The mink calls you, yanks the hair from your body.
The calf gets a knife and slits your neck.
The rabbit gives you a new chemical to test on your face.
The bull comes and strips off your skin.
Now think, was it really worth it?
No, no it wasn't. So next time be a tad more concious.
It really isn't hard. I am being honest.

Only I
A red stain,
on the ground.
You step right on it,
without ever looking down.
That crack on the floor,
that never gets
I'm fed up with Wisconsin
I'm tired of snow and rain
I'm tired of grumpy people
and all the slow moving trains
I'm fed up
Sitting and thinking, most assuredly alone,
even though he is on the other side of the room.
