There are millions of accessories availabletoday, but there are a few specific items no woman should be without. And if you never buy anything else in your life, you will still be set for years to come.

Bangle Bracelets
Bangles are nice because they come in lots of different colors, patterns, materials and designs and can be dressed up or down, depending on the outfit you're wearing. I like to throw one on my arm when I'm going to the beach, to work or out on the town. Bangles are also a great accessory because they are fun and fashionable. I own tons of bangles in all different styles and materials: wooden, plastic decorated with hand-painted flowers, gold metal. Bangles can be found at most stores that carry accessories, such as Claire's, Express and Old Navy, but department stores also carry them, and usually have a larger, higher-end selection. I bought my favorite bangles at JC Penney, and I even found a great set at a street fair in New York's SoHo district.

Chandelier Earrings
Chandelier earrings are the "little black dress" of accessories. They can take any outfit from day-time chic to night-time sexy. They are the perfect stand-alone accessory and look great on pretty much everyone. I once had a dilemma where I didn't know what kind of necklace I should wear with my halter-top dress and a woman at an accessories store recommended that I instead buy a large pair of chandelier earrings. That woman changed my life. I bought myself a beautiful pair and I wear them anytime I am dressing to the 9s, or when I want to dress my outfit up a little. The first pearl necklace should be a real pearl necklace because every woman deserves one. And pearls are a very classic, timeless accessory. Trust me, you will be thankful you own a pair. They help make outfits look more conservative and come in many different colors. (I'm trying to find a black pearl necklace right now.) My grandmother bought me the most beautiful pearls, and every time I wear them I feel elegant, like I'm Audrey Hepburn. For these kind of pearls, your best bet is to go to your favorite fine jewelry store and see what they carry. There are also retailers that specialize in pearls. It's worth splurging
