Armageddon, The End of Days, The Second Coming, all these titles are used to describe the final battle between good and evil. The question being is it coming soon? Most will tell you they have heard that we are in the last days since they were children. I know that I have, and going to church I heard it at least once a month. In the mind of a child or adolecent such things can be very scary. Once adulthood is attained however most dismiss such things as the rantings of crazed preachers intent upon instilling fear into the hearts of his congregation.
The fact of the matter is this though mankind cannot tell what exactly God's timeline is. They cannot measure when such an event will take place, and furthermore since 1900 the world has slowly been in a decent. Since 1900 we have made such technological advances that have never been realized since the beginning of time itself. We have stepped into a realm of existence that has never been known to man before. Think about it according to the Bible the world is a little over 6,000 years old. Until the early 1900's there were no such things as automobiles, airplanes, electricity, televison or air-conditioning. No cellphones, microwaves, space travel, long range missles, or Nuclear warheads. These things are common place now advancing further with each passing day.
As I said before according to Bible the world is around 6,000 years old. According to science though we are million of years old. How is it that we have just come about such advances in the last 100 years or so? Could it be that we are catapulting at a rate that staggers the human mind? Now take all of this into account and figure in the question; Is Armageddon coming soon? This final battle that according to prophecy will take place in the mountain regions of the Middle East. The world is declining daily, and the need for a savior is greater now than ever before in history. To say that the stage is being set for the Anti-Chirst to appear on the scene is a strong understatement. Afterall he is one of the key figures of the battle of Armageddon. He must be present for it to take place, and he has yet to appear.
When Jesus was on the earth he gave some clues as to what the situation will be like in those days; preceeding the battle between him and the Anti-Christ. One of the things he alluded to was that in those days it would be like the days of Noah.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days
