A few weeks ago I could not have written this article. Depression had taken over me and I was living in self-pity all the time. I then joined a group on a internet social site and my life was turned around.
The group suggested watching "The Secret" a narrative film based on The Law of Attraction. The day I watched it and with the help of the group leader and the wonderfully positive members I found my inspiration. Here are some of "The Secrets" I learned.
When you are driving and come to stop sign use the sign as a symbol to stop and think. Think about what you are grateful for in your life and what it means to you. As you drive away hold the thoughts and it will make you smile and uplift your spirits.
There are many other things to assign some meaning to. Choose items you like that hold a positive meaning. A picture of nature. A picture of child smiling. A chair that holds a special memory. Colors can also hold meaning. Green can be looked upon as meaning abundance. When you see green think about how abundant you are or how abundant you will be! Orange can mean health and prosperity. When you see orange be grateful for your health! Assign any positive meaning to the color of your choice and when you see that color take in all it means to you.
Think positive and know the more you do the more positive will come into your life. What you think you attract. If you wake up and you get out of bed dreading the day, you will dread the day. Instead wake up and feel good about the day and the day will go good. Find good in negative situations. If your co-worker is complaining to you, tell her about something good that happened to you. It will turn the negative atmosphere around.
Know you cannot control anyone but yourself. If you lift the burden about worrying about everyone else you will set your soul free to care for yourself. If someone is doing something you do not approve of, tell yourself, that is their problem not mine! I am me and they are them. Do not expect someone else to make you happy. You are in control of your own happiness!
Get on the internet! Find social sites that have groups your interested in becoming apart of or that spark your interest. Join in the forums and the book clubs and discussions. Try to stay clear from clubs that just affirm any negative attitudes like political or health problem groups. Find groups that attract positive thinkers.
Inspiration can most importantly be found in yourself. Tell yourself you are strong, smart, beautiful, handsome, harmonious and any other good thing about yourself. You are your own creation and you are wonderfully created in your own image of yourself; so make it positive!
