The City at Night
A reflection in the window,
Neon lights beyond
Rooftops, towers and dark shadows
The telephone line labyrinth
The leaking roof, The rattling gate
Torn Fabric, broken buildings,
broken spirit.
Dust
The desk lamp glows, the moth flutters
The radiator manifold creaks
And we say our prayers.
