I'm going to put my happiness in a box,
Ready to open another time,
If it's in the box, it can't get spoilt,
And that box will always be mine.
When times are hard and days are long,
That box will always glow,
Like a favourite person, or favourite song,
It'll bring me comfort as I go.
When I need something to make me happy,
When I can't find anything that is mine,
When what made me smile, now makes me unhappy,
I can open that box, and everything will be fine.
I'm going to put my happiness in a box,
Ready to open another time,
If it's in the box, it can't get spoilt,
And that box will always be mine.
