Writing a well crafted Professional Press Releases is one business tool that will attract the media, which translates to free advertising for your product or service. Also, remember a good press release will answer the "W" questions
(who, what, when, where, why) thus providing news media on-line with relevant information about your business.

Avoid writing a Press Release that reads like a Blatant Advertisement. The media will avoid this type of Press Release. And all your efforts writing and distributing the Press Release will be wasted. Just imagine... your Press

Release might be used by many editor's with a large readership. Or even show up on the search engines. All great rewards for your excellent hard work
writing and distributing your Press Release to the on-line media.

Many online marketers experienced a substantial increase in web-site traffic after distributing their Press Release on-line. This will certainly happen to you if you follow the tips in this article.

Writing an Attention Grabbing Press Release is not complicated if you follow the basic formula.

Let's Get Started!

The Title.

Write an attention grabbing title without sounding like an advertisement. Many experienced writers believe simply using the product or service name in the
title is okay. Try to avoid advertising gimmicks or tricky titles with zillions of exclamation points! This is an instant turn-off to editors.

First Paragraph.

Hook the reader with an interesting statement about your product, business, or service. Summarize using the "W" questions (who, what, when, where,
why) journalistic formula.

Main Body.

Using the pyramid formula, write the most important information about the product, service, or business. End with the least important point.

The Closing.

Include your contact information: your name, e-mail address, web link, or affiliate link.

Limit your Press Release to about 300 words or less. Longer Press Releases should be avoided if you wish to increase your publication opportunities. Most on-line publishers have limited space in their publications and will avoid a Press Release that goes too long.
