Entreaty for Love
The Question
I used to ask myself if there was such a thing as "love at first sight".
It's a question I've asked a thousand times.
Then, I set eyes upon you!
How is it possible that I feel so much?
For a woman passing me by?
Love has no boundaries, no countries, no measure!
That is when I acknowledged that I had fallen in love,
In love at first sight!
I'm down on my knees, begging for your love,
A woman I've begun to know and admire.
I've been in love and know that it's not always fun!
Each second, each minute, each hour, each day, I pray and pray!
Waiting for the moment, you'll say yes, I'll be yours until the end of time!
I know you find it hard to trust a man,
But give yourself, knowing it's me.
I'm on my knees entreating you - losing my pride,
Entreating you please, please,
Once more please, be mine!
The Answer
Thanks again for those beautiful words.
Where do you get them anyway?
Are they from your heart or belong to someone else?
I'm sure you're wasting your time on me.
I found the one I'll always love,
I am his and he is mine!
Beware! You're not knocking on a block of ice,
But on a diamond - hard and bright!
I'm sure you won't tarnish this precious gem,
For it's worth is not yours to find.
Thanks again, for your beautiful words and,
Know that we can be nought, but friends!
