NO OTHER PLACE
I lay here in this bed
feeling so alone
all I want to do
is be in my home
wrapped up in you
wrapped up in the safety
of my loves arms
no other place
fits me just right
no other place
warms my heart at night
when the day goes wrong
and no one else can make
me feel okay
I know where to turn
on a horrible day
or the day goes right
and I just want it
to be perfect
it doesn't matter
cause all I want
is to be
in your arms at night
all I want to do
is be wrapped up in you
wrapped up in the safety
of my loves arms
no other place
fits me just right
no other place
warms my heart at night
no one else but you

Weary of the
Corner of the loveseat while the sun sets behind closed blinds
Cigarette burns low
The neighbors phone rings off the hook

All alone in a busy place
With a fake smile upon her face
Her soul once free now cry's so loudly
But you cant tell because
