Scour is a new Search engine which brings you results from Google, Yahoo and MSN all at the same time. The big difference between Scour and those three search engines just mentioned is that Scour will actually pay you to use there search engine!

Scour does not pay in cash, check or via paypal. Scour pays with Visa Gift cards. Visa gift cards are pretty much gift cards that can be used at any store, so it is pretty much just as good as cash.

Scour pays you for searching, voting and commenting (Well get to voting and commenting in a sec). For doing any of those three things you are awarded points.

You will earn 1 point for every search you complete. You will earn two points for every search result you vote on. Lastly you can earn 3 points for every search result you comment on. But you are limited to 4 points each search, so you can not do one search and vote on every result to gain points super fast. This also cuts down from people just voting to vote and will hopefully help get constructive votes.

Once you accumulate lots of points you can then use them to redeem Visa gift cards. 6,500 points will earn you a $25 Visa gift card while 12,500 will earn you $50 and lastly 25,000 points will earn you $100. These do seem like lots and lots of points but I tend to do a lot of searches and I am not going out of my way or wasting time, trying to pointless operations to earn money online. I am just doing what i do every day.

The voting comes into play to filter the search results and to help move the better results to the top of the results. This is social searching at its best. The more votes a website has the higher it will be for it's search results, thus giving the users a much more helpful list of results. Therefore the results are ranked by humans and not a computer algorithm.

Not only can you vote search results up and down but you can also comment on each search result. The comments act as little notes to others who may consider visiting a website, listed on the search results.

Scour makes it super easy to vote and comment on search results. When you click a search result from the lists of results and you are brought to that results page there is a small unobtrusive bar at the bottom where you can easily and quickly vote up or down and comment on the page you are visiting!

Scour will probably take me a long time to get enough points to cash out, but its simple, because I am just earning for my everyday actions!
