~All I See~
All I want is to escape
My own appearance
I can't stand to see my face
So distorted and contorted
I can't tolerate my reflection
All I see is what I'm not
Every sound and every sight
Cringes at a glance of me
If that's not the case
Then maybe it's just me
But when I look in the mirror
What I'm not is all I see
I live in the past
But it hurts to relive
Everything that I've seen
Everything that I've done
I'm searching for a beacon of hope
In the midst of miles of heartache
I'm searching for that one thing
That can get me through it all
At times I feel I've found it
At times I think I'm free
But reality comes back
To steal it away from me
The world is so big
And I am so small
I feel so overwhelmed
By the reality of it all

Beating me with your heated
