Typically when you think of Jell-O shots college fraternity parties come to mind. But, why should the barely legal get to have all of the fun? It is time for the "grown-up" crowd to experience the wonder of Jell-O and what better way to do so than to experiment with classic drink combinations like the Black Russian and the Sombrero and the sophisticated Espresso Martini.
Kahlua Jell-O shots are a good alternative to an after dinner coffee with your dessert or in place of dessert.

To get the shots out of the plastic cups you can use a toothpick around the edges to loosen the jell-o. If you don't mind the implications you can simply swirl your tongue around the edge to loosen the jell-o. When using the paper cups you simply squeeze the shot into your mouth.
If you need to store your shots it is easiest to use the plastic condiment cups that come with covers and simply store them in your vegetable bin in the refrigerator. If you only have the paper cups then you can empty a shelf on your refrigerator and place the shots on cookie sheets. Fill one cookie sheet and then place another on top and continue filling until all of your shots are stored. This makes it easy to make shots ahead of time for a weekend party.
