Natures wonders
The golden tipped wings
of the yellow finch
glimmered in the gleaming light
casted off from the baking sun.
Basking lizards lay lazily below
on the colorful cobbelestone path
placed in a maze like pattern
upon a patch of green low cut grass
Hikers stop to admire the sight
of the crystal flowing river beneath
the mountain they climbed up so high on
and the park where people stare right back up at them
The sun, the skies, the trees around us
everything sparkling and shining
looking its best for the millions of people
that every year pack up their car and family
to get away and explore the wonders nature has to offer
