Common mistakes made by small business owners

There are over 50 million internet marketers. Everyone one of them has a product or service he/ she is selling and he/ she makes it sound like it is the best opportunity on the web.

Proceed with caution before you act. Do not fall for the big money sales pitch. They make it sound so easy. Make $5k to $10k per month. No closing, no selling, no calling, completely automated systems. All you have to do is advertise. In fact, these businesses have inherent problems:

1. No Duplication: Without duplication network marketers will fail. The problem with most network marketers is they are unable to present their business effectively; therefore, prospects don't give their contact info. They are unable to follow up with prospects indefinitely with quality content, so prospects unsubscribe. They are unable to train a new person to quickly become successful, so they quit.

2. No Proven System: A "proven system" is one that consistently produces positive results. Most internet marketers either don't have a system or the one they have is ineffective in generating enough quality leads at an affordable price, or in effectively converting prospects to join their business.

3. Ineffective Marketing: Most network marketers waste a lot of time and money chasing unqualified prospects. They don't make anything from prospects who aren't interested in their business. They quickly get discouraged when they get poor results so they quit.

4. No Proper Follow Up: They are unable to capture prospects information, which is required to follow up with them. They fail to deliver the messages in today's spam-dominated world. Their messages only focus on joining their business which doesn't work. Also, they don't have a way to effectively manage information about their prospects.

5. No Proper Training: Most network marketers don't have an online way to support their team 24 hours a day. The average network marketer fails because he/ she doesn't know what is required to be successful, and is in dire need of training support.

I got down to thinking what kind of network marketing mechanism would solve all these problems, and insure success:

If a proven system allowed distributors and their team to easily get quality leads for free, the problem of duplication would be solved. The business should be presented effectively, so prospects don't hesitate to give their contact info. Follow up should be automated with quality content so prospects chase distributors. 24 x 7 training from top income earners will free distributors from the need to train.

Show them how to generate their own exclusive quality leads for free. Educate prospects on what they want so prospects view distributors as experts and chase them

Provide ongoing marketing to prospects about products/services with no effort by the network marketers, so that you can give quality free leads to your members. This would help convert a lot more prospects to join your business

The key to effective follow up is to give prospects what they want ... Not what you want!

Provide regular live training calls that are recorded as well as interviews with top internet marketers so members can pick up tips and skills and earn a lot more quickly
