How to save money when travelling

can upset a light sleeper. Free campsites are available in most areas, although some states and councils provide different facilities. Never park off road if it looks like rain, as you may become bogged.

Buy Food from Supermarkets

Buy your fresh fruit, vegetables, and groceries at supermarkets or discount shopping centers; it ischeaper than small corner stores or roadhouses. Pack your thermos, and prepare sandwiches for the day in the morning. Then stop and have a picnic lunch. This will be cheaper than a pie and sauce from the roadhouse. Fresh food is better than pastry and less fattening. Although their toilet facilities may come in handy, if you forgot to pack the shovel.

Outdoor camp or tent Holiday


Be prepared for all kinds of weather. Make sure your tent is waterproof. If it should rain have a backup plan, apart from that, camping holidays are similar to those with a caravan. Apply the basics to all the above caravan savings.

Whatever way you travel, you can find little ways to save on accommodation, food, and essentials. Reducing these costs, will not stop you from having a terrific holiday, use the extra dollars saved where you really want to spend them. Then you will enjoy those added benefits and save money on travel.

Free Entertainment

Visit the local museums, parks, and gardens, to save you money. Spend time at the beach. Some motels have free entertainment, like water aerobics, make use of them especially when the children can join in. Barter for a cheaper price, Bali is not the only place to barter.

Whatever holiday you choose, make sure you look for specials and above all enjoy yourself creating memories and take photos to keep for years to come.
