Advice for new writers

So you want to break into the expansive and wonderful world of writing, where the possibilities and opportunities are limitless, with so many different markets, styles and genres. A writer is a person who formulates a written message to an audience. The writer speaks through words, while the audience, the reader, listens. There are so many potential messages and audiences, hence the immense possibilities in the field of writing. *Experiment with different genres and styles of writing. Not all writers can write poetry, fiction, or stock market analyses, but writing
