There is always a twinkle of bitterness present in my mind. Bitterness that raises anger and words unkind.
It comes from comparisons my heart can help but create.
Comparing the man I love but also hate.
Brown eyes sear through me, compassion and care.
Brown eyes sear through me, fear and despair.
Words of kindness, love and adore, capture my attention.
Words of garbage, foul, and obscene, beyond comprehension.
Caress so soft, gentle and sweet, calm my commotion.
Callous hand raised, grabs and pushes, evokes frightful emotion.
Scents of a man, alluring and subtle, I fall to my knees
Scents of his anger, sour and vengeful, my heart does freeze.
How can this contrast create one person? Why do I love him?
Is this who I chose? Will my innocent comparisons worsen?
Did he choose me, want me, pang for me? Was it because in his life I began to mettle? I guess my question is Did he just Settle?
Second best might I be, when true love was burned, then again maybe I am the one for which he always has yearned.
Decision be made, short lived or long, I really don't care which place I belong. Therefore I admit, through pleasure and pain, forever I'll love him no matter what I gain.

A Prayer From The Soul
Anytime when with a girl,
I don't know what to say.
Thoughts dishevel in a whirl.
My soul begins to pray.

Leave me alone
Get out of my head
I don't want to like you
Did you hear what I said?
I shouldn't like you
But for some reason
The life we share together,
Our eyes meet and our hands touch,
Our time we give, but a secret is must stay,
You give your love
