Depending on the Christian system we are talking about - there could be more than one future for Christianity. In the Bible believers called themselves in the "Way". The word Christian was meant to be a derogatory name. It meant little Christ....or one who acts like Christ. Today (Christian) means a lot of different things to different people. One section believes in things expressly forbidden by the word of God, and yet another actually believes they can get to heaven aside from Christ. At one time the word struck fear into the hearts of men and women who were persecuted during the Inquisitions. They flew flags with crosses and carried emblems of the same and yet they murdered women and children because of their faith..and thank God that time came to an end!
In spite of the persecution the new born church had to suffer it grew and it survived in spite of all those who tried to snuff it out. The inquisitions came to an end but the believers continued and their numbers grew! Persecution always causes the church to grow!

The Bible says we will be persecuted and many killed and as that happens we will not be surprised. In a society that seeks fleshly fulfillment it's no wonder the church is the last thing on their list of what to do for fun. Church is not fun it calls for self discipline and giving! It's not about personal prosperity because when prosperity is gone they will quit! Its not about the biggest ministry because when they lose members they will lose faithThe truth is that this is all about another place it's about the one who went away to prepare a place for us that we can be with Him.
John 14:2- in my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told, you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3- and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Sure those who are building their own kingdoms will be discouraged and perhaps stop going to church and try another form of
