My Boys
Always accepting of the true me,
The only ones who let me be.
Light criticism and heavy care,
Form a shield that's always there.
A safety net that keeps away,
The scum that always seems to stray.
They nourish my flaws,
And are great for my cause.
Peering with nonjudgmental eyes,
All of the reasons I love my guys.

lying on my canvas cot.
Watching all the snow fall,
thank god for what I've got.
A roof to give me shelter,
patchwork
Growing as a part of me,
you already bring me joy.

our precious baby boy.
