Humiliation
The past.
It haunts me. Every day a prisoner in my own mind.
The memories are immortal; I put the blame on people like you.
So unnecessary, yet you laugh at my pain. Can't see passed what was back then.
The present.
What can I do to prove my worth?
So many years have gone by, but time doesn't heal the pain, or change your mind.
Truthfully, I blame myselfI should have known. I should have, but I didn't.
My suffering is my punishment.
The future.
Respect. The goal seems an eternity away.
You are the untouchableand I have my work cut out for me.
