Stock photos are a great way to personalize web pages or add pictures to flyers and invitations. With a stock photo, all you have to do is download or save the image and then it is yours to use anytime you need it. There are many terrific places on the Internet where you can get free stock photos.

If you are not familiar with "Free photos", you should at least give it a visit. This site does have a registration process but, it is free to join and free to download anything that is there. You will be able to easily access over 4,000 photos. You also have the option of sharing your own pictures for other people to use. The only catch is that when you use the photo, this site requests that you link back to them and give credit where it is due. This is really the least that you can do.

"Easy stock photos" is another great site for beautiful stock photos. There are thousands of pictures in thirty categories. There are many photos to choose from. On this site your only problem will be whether or not you have enough space on your hard drive to store all your choices.

"Free stock photos" was one of the first ones that popped up when I did a search. I visited the page and I could see why. There are several categories of pictures that you can download. Right clicking to save also works but, the samples have the site's name printed through each one so that makes them seem less than desirable. Under each stock photo, you will get a brief description, the copyright information, keywords, and file or size information. This makes deciding if you want the picture even easier!

"Digital free photo" requires no registration or log in process. It only asks that you link back to them as a way of saying "Thank you" for using their photos. There are many incredible pictures offered. Be sure to check out the ones offered of various sunsets. I had to do a double take to make sure they weren't paintings or postcards. They definitely could be.

"Dreams Time" is another great site. It is very easy to navigate so that even the most computer illiterate people can find what they need. There are thirteen categories to choose from and a wide variety of pictures to choose from. You can share your own photos but you are required to register in order to do operate that particular function.
