Do you remember:
Dusk was falling
Like a thick haze of lust,
Flooding me with anticipation
Like I'd never known.
But nothing could prepare me for
How exquisite you looked just standing
At my front door.
You're so sweet, and we're just the same.
Drinking down poisons, making plans
And shaping memories as we speak.
I don't want to get ahead of myself.
But in my most secret depth
I'm wishing on all the stars.
I catch you making eyes; a silent stare
Cutting through the buzz,
And none of our friends notice a thing.
And now we're tumbling,
Hand in hand through these streets
And avenues I've walked a thousand times alone,
Lifeless and ordinary.
Now tipsy with starry-eyed delight
We're treading pave ways and boulevards
Rare and wild, shooting like stars
Through the skies.
My favourite place;
Amongst the reckless bodies
Our feet danced a flame across these tiles
And beyond watching eyes
A kiss was stolen
And hearts surrendered.
And I had the strangest feeling that
The words in the song were written for us.

Are you stuck in a moment?
Entranced and fixated on a memory,
A continued aching torment.
You draw the lines,
Stumbling
The Best Things in Life are the Deadliest
The best things in life are always the deadliest.
When the fragile stitches
Sacrifice
Giving is a hobby.
My needs are postponed.
I become the stray dog.
I am helpless;
without hope;
without dreams.
The harsh
